TASK Paris Restaurant Picks for 2024

Orla visited Paris last week & wanted to share with you some recommendations. Hopefully this will encourage you to book that city break in 2024!

Brasserie Lipp Saint Germain

I cannot tell you how much I recommend this restaurant. If you want a classic french brasserie experience, Brasserie Lipp in Saint Germain is the place to be. The restaurant has been open since 1880, when Léonard Lipp and his wife Pétronille opened the brasserie on the Boulevard Saint-Germain. Their speciality was a cervelat rémoulade starter, then choucroute garnie, served with the finest beers. Brasserie Lipp is where you want to be if you’re looking for great seafood, meats & wines.

La suite Girafe

La Suite Girafe is situated on top of the Girafe Restaurant. This restaurant serves incredible seafood ranging from oysters to lobster to caviar. Matched with a stunning interior & excellent service, La Suite Girafe also has stunning views of the Eiffel Tower. We visited in winter so we didn’t embrace the view as much as we would have liked but certainly put this on your lunch list if you are heading to Paris in the spring.

Monsieur Bleu

I celebrated my birthday at Monsieur Bleu, twice in a row now. I cannot even begin to tell you how gorgeous this restaurant is. Situated right beneath the sparkling Eiffel Tower in the Palais de Tokyo, Monsieur Bleu is the perfect date night restaurant. The restaurant has incredibly high ceilings, with gorgeous light fittings & a DJ. We opted to share the seabass between two which was one of the most delicious meals I have had in a long time. I would recommend Monsieur Bleu for dining all year round. Try and get there in a summer evening so that you can enjoy the terrace too!
