Liv’s London Recommendations

I spent Easter weekend in my favourite place - London. I try to get there a few times a year & try out different places every time I go, as well as always going back to my favourite spots. I have so many great recommendations for restaurants, coffee spots & things to do from this trip that you can add to your itinerary for your next trip to London.

Food & Drink Recommendations

Circolo Populare

This was without a doubt the most aesthetic restaurant I’ve ever been to, the interior alone makes it worth a visit. It’s located a few minutes walk from Oxford Street so it’s a great spot to go for lunch or dinner after a day of shopping.

The food was amazing, and it was definitely the food highlight of my trip. They have a classic Italian menu with plenty of pizza & pasta options and delicious desserts. If you are planning on visiting, I’d definitely recommend booking well in advance as it’s super busy!

Daphnes, Chelsea

Daphnes is an Italian restaurant in Chelsea with gorgeous interiors. It’s a great spot for lunch with the girls & the aesthetics are amazing inside. The food is Italian-style & it is so delicious.

Chestnut Bakery, Covent Garden

Chestnut Bakery is a great spot if you are shopping in Covent Garden & looking for a sweet treat. They do delicious, unique pastries & great coffee. They are also doing the viral cookie croissants that you have to try if you visit.

Blank Street Coffee

The hype about Blank Street is completely justified. I've been seeing it all over social media & my favourite influencers are always there so it was high on my list of places to try out in London. I cannot recommend their coffee enough I got it every day I was in London. If you are going I’d recommend the Shaken Brown Sugar Cold Brew Latte or the White Chocolate Matcha. 10/10.

Kingly Court

Kingly Court is a spot I love to go to every time I’m in London. It’s a hidden courtyard right in the middle of Carnaby Street with amazing food and drink options & a great atmosphere. There is so much to choose from here & it’s a lovely spot to chill out in between shopping.

Spend a day in…

Notting Hill

Notting Hill is my favourite part of London. There is so much to do and see there you can easily spend an entire day there.

Hop on the central line & get off at Notting Hill Gate and start walking towards Portobello Road. There is a market on there every day with lots of local businesses selling everything from vintage clothing to jewellery to artwork.

There are also so many shops around Notting Hill, spend a few hours exploring them and then head for something to eat in Zephyr, a delicious & aesthetic greek restaurant.

Richmond

Richmond is a great place to spend a day if you want to get away from the craziness of London for a few hours. I went to Richmond on Easter Sunday & loved exploring.

If you are there at the weekend, head to Duck Pond Market which is full of local, sustainable small businesses & food stalls.

For coffee, I’d recommend Dharma, a small speciality coffee shop with cute interiors & delicious coffee.

Stroll around Richmond Riverside & Richmond Green and then head into The Princes Head for a drink.

Shopping

Rixo, Chelsea

Rixo is a female-founded, vintage-inspired fashion brand with a few of their iconic stores dotted around London. I was shopping in Chelsea & went into Rixo and ended up spending an hour in here. The clothes are gorgeous, you could spend hours trying everything on. At the back of the store they have a colourful bar with delicious cocktails for you to sip on while you take a break from shopping. Such a fun store & definitely worth calling into.

Soho Home

Definitely more of a window shopping location, but great to walk around. Soho Home is a furniture & interiors store with a few locations around London. I had a look around both the Notting Hill & Chelsea locations and loved the vibe of the shops. The Chelsea store also doubles as a little coffee shop where you can sit in and admire the store while having a coffee.
